Where we will get software

These are sites we will be using frequently, and which you might want to look around on for things you could download to your own installation (if you decide to put Solaris 10 on a machine).
Of course quite a bit comes with the initial install.

Sunfreeware.com, Solaris 10 on Intel version

This is perhaps the primary site, and much of this comes with the regular Solaris packages for Solaris 10.

blastwave.org       Community SoftWare (CSW)

This is another good side, with the very nice (usually) feature that their packaging automatically includes all the packages that the target depends upon.

Once in a while this is a pain, if there are many dependencies and they conflict with other software. There may be more removes and replacements than you expected in your wildest dreams.
